Peta Searle, one of the AFL's most senior coaches, was appointed Assistant Coach at VFL premiership side Port Melbourne last November.
She's been involved in footy for 20 years and is the first female to be appointed to this level of coaching in football.
Her accolades include coaching VWFL side Darebin Falcons to five successive premierships and being the second female to participate in a Level 3 AFL Coaching Course.
This week, Peta is taking part in the AFL Women's High Performance Academy in Melbourne as part of Women's Round and alongside Nicole Graves, will meet with Collingwood coach Nathan Buckley.
Nicole was the first female to be accredited with a Level 3 AFL Coach accreditation and currently volunteers as the first female assistant coach of a senior community men's team, Mt Lawley.
Both women will each coach a side for Saturday's HPA exhibition match at Visy Park. The game will be live streamed online from 10am (EST) at afl.com.au/hpa
